Singer Mangli Booked After Birthday Party Raid

Popular singer Mangli has found herself entangled in a legal controversy after foreign liquor and marijuana were discovered at her birthday party, held at a resort in Chevella. Following the incident, police have registered a case against her.

As per reports, Chevella Police conducted a raid late last night at Tripura Resort, where Mangli was celebrating her birthday, after receiving a tip-off. The authorities stated that the party was organized without prior police permission, foreign liquor was being served illegally, and one individual was found consuming marijuana on the premises.

Mangli has been booked for hosting an unauthorized event without obtaining prior police clearance and for serving alcohol without the necessary permissions from the excise department. Additionally, the resort’s General Manager has also been charged for allowing the event to take place without securing the required permits.

The guest list at the party included several friends and industry personalities such as singer Divi and lyricist Kasarla Shyam, who are also now under police scrutiny. According to sources, the police are preparing to serve notices to these attendees as part of the ongoing investigation.

During the raid, a person named Damodar was caught consuming marijuana. He was taken into custody, and officials are now investigating the possible extent of drug use at the party.

Mangli, who has risen to fame with hit songs like Ramulo Ramula, George Reddy’s Bullet Song, Saaranga Dhariya, Bhoom Baddhal, Jinthak Chithak, and Laddu Gaani Pelli, now faces serious legal complications as the investigation unfolds.
