It looks like wedding bells may soon ring for Tollywood actor Akhil Akkineni. If buzz is to be believed, Akhil is all set to tie the knot with Zainab, daughter of Hyderabad-based businessman Zulfi Ravdjee, in the first week of June — with June 6th being the most likely date.
The couple reportedly got engaged in a low-key ceremony on November 26, which took many by surprise. The timing was especially interesting, as it coincided with rumors surrounding his elder brother Naga Chaitanya’s possible second marriage.
Talks are underway about a grand destination wedding. While nothing has been confirmed, sources hint at either a royal palace in Rajasthan or a lavish celebration in Hyderabad. On the professional front, Akhil is gearing up for his next project titled Lenin, a Telugu romantic action drama directed by Murali Kishore Abburu. The film stars Sreeleela as the female lead and is jointly produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni and Naga Vamsi under the banners of Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments.
