The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and President of Janasena, Pawan Kalyan, addressed an enormous gathering at the party’s plenary session held in Pithapuram today. During his speech, he touched on several key topics, including his health, political journey, and future in films.
In a rare moment of candor, Kalyan briefly spoke about his declining physical health, contrasting it with his past fitness levels.
“There was a time when I could endure granite stones on my chest while performing martial arts. But over the years, I have grown physically weaker. Now, I find myself in a condition where I struggle to even lift my six-year-old son, let alone my elder one, Akira. This deterioration is largely due to the pressures of politics, which have taken a toll on my health,” Kalyan remarked.
His statement comes in light of his frequent bouts of illness, with recurring fever symptoms raising concerns among his supporters. However, he reassured his fans that he would recover soon with their blessings.
Addressing speculation about his film career, Kalyan confirmed that his upcoming film, OG, is set for release and promised fans an exciting cinematic experience. He also dismissed rumors about his retirement from films, stating that he has no plans to step away from the industry.
Taking a jab at the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YCP), Kalyan quipped, “This marks our 11th year in politics, and we have successfully confined them (YCP) to just 11 seats.”
His remarks received resounding applause from the crowd, further cementing his strong presence in both politics and cinema.
